I’ve been actually trying to find a link from their main website but wasn’t able to find one. The Civil Service Commission’s home page is not SEO-optimized and user-friendly. I tried to search the phrase ‘SCHOOL ASSIGNMENT’ or ‘ROOM ASSIGNMENT‘ from the home page but no result is found. I am left with no choice but to close the website, hoping the next time I visit I would be able to find the most awaited link.
I actually kept on visiting and re-visiting their home page from time to time since last month, after I submitted my application form and eventually paid P500.00, but it seems that they’re actually not updating the website’s home page.
Today, I decided to ask my friend Google one more time. Luckily, it brought me to a blog which contains a link to the Official Website of the Civil Service Commission Online Notice of School Assignment. The rooms for the Civil Service Examination held last May 2012 were said to be listed there, according to the blog post I found. Hoping that they already added the room assignment for October 21, 2012 examination, I inputted my information. Boom! I found my room assignment, at last.

I believe it’s a bug in their system. The room assignments should be available now. If not, contact the regional offices. Thank you.
